Job summary

Sevita's D&S Community Services in Denton, TX is hiring a part-time Saturday-Sunday caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will provide personal care, help participants pursue activities, and promote community involvement, while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining respectful, compassionate relationships.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a registered vehicle and insurance.
• Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene and support for participants.

D&S Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Details

Pay Class: Part Time
Hours: Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Site Location: Emerson – Denton, TX.
Rate of Pay: $11 per hour.
No GED or high school diploma required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history without restrictions.
