Job summary

The King’s Daughters’ School is seeking dedicated caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist clients in building independence, joining community activities, and maintaining a warm, safe home-like setting.

No experience required—training provided. Valid driver's license preferred for weekend shifts. Multiple full-time and weekend options available to fit your schedule.

Help individuals with developmental disabilities thrive, build independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences.Current shifts available:Full-time Mon-Fri 1st shift (40 hrs/week)Full-time Mon-Fri 2nd shift (40 hrs/week)Full-time-Saturday and Sunday 7am-10pm (30 hrs/week)Part-time floater-Sat and Sun 8 hour shifts each day (16 hrs/week)PRN-to work as needed as a sub, shifts varyJob duties include:Provide compassionate care and support for clients with intellectual disabilities.Help clients build independence and life skills.Lead fun activities and community outings.Create a safe, positive, home-like environment.No experience with developmental disabilities? No problem! We prefer candidates with some background, but we're willing to train the right person who shows genuine interest and dedication.What we need from you:Valid driver's license preferred (required for weekend positions).High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair).Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients.Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hireReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
