Job summary

Community Interface Services in Chula Vista, CA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in pursuing personal goals, independence, and community involvement.

The role involves one-on-one assistance, skill-building, and enriching activities; starting pay is $23–$25 per hour with a possible $1/hour increase after training and development programs. This is a full-time position with daytime hours in the South Bay area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience required.
• Reliable vehicle in safe working condition required.
• Current vehicle insurance required.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work one-on-one with individuals to help them achieve their unique goals. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals in developing workplace and employment skills
• Assisting with independent living and life skills development
• Facilitating participation in social, recreational, and community activities
• Helping individuals pursue educational and career opportunities
• Encouraging community engagement and inclusion
• Providing person-centered support tailored to individual goals and interests

This position serves individuals throughout the South Bay/Chula Vistaareas. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours.
