Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a compassionate caregiver and life coach to promote independence and well-being for individuals in our community. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care, medications, social outings, and shopping, helping clients work toward personal goals.

You will document care and progress, complete incident reports and medical forms, and communicate clearly with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required by state regulations.

Requirements

• Valid and current driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (2 years' driving experience required).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening per state requirements.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• One (1) year of experience supporting individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities (preferred).
