Job summary

Assurance Care & Support Services Inc in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a compassionate home health aide to provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, transportation, and light housekeeping.

The role requires caring for individuals with diverse needs, including dementia care. First aid/CPR certification is a plus and strong communication with families and healthcare professionals is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition guidelines.
• Ability to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies.
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to take vital signs and monitor health status of individuals.
• Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
