Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Slippery Rock, PA. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and life-skills development while supporting community involvement and transportation.

No experience required—paid training is provided. Earn up to $18/hour with an Enhanced Pay option and flexible weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Driver's license required for community based homes.
• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

Shifts available: 2nd shift w/ weekends, 2:30pm-11pm 1st week T/S; 2nd week S/F
