Arc Human Services seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support participants in the Pittsburgh area, including Bridgeville, Greentree, and Carnegie. Responsibilities include personal care, transportation, and documentation to promote independence.

The role offers varied shifts (FT/PT/Per Diem) with enhancements for certified DSPs, a sign-on bonus for full-time hires, and a focus on professional growth through NADSP certifications.

Qualifications

• Paid training provided
• 18 years of age or older
• Must pass background checks, TB, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of participants in community homes
• Provide personal care including cooking and cleaning
• Assist with transportation and community engagement
• Dispense medications and document care accurately
• Support development of independent living skills and self-advocacy
