Job summary

The Athelas Institute, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional-Residential Services in Towson to provide direct support, supervision and mentoring for residents in a residential program.

You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, personal care, documentation, and life-skill coaching while promoting independence and respect. Driving, medication administration, CPR/First Aid and Mandt training are required or pursued on employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients.
• Medication administration certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, supervision and mentoring to residents daily.
• Complete state/agency documentation accurately and on time.
• Administer medications per policy using eMAR systems.
• Transport residents using company vehicles as needed.
