Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides in Chattanooga, TN to provide person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required – paid training provided.

Starting rate $15.00 per hour for weekend shifts, with comprehensive benefits offered after 90 days of employment. We also provide a $250 referral bonus and competitive insurance benefits including holidays and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish supportive relationships and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care tailored to ISP/PCP.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and hygiene.
• Monitor health and report concerns.
• Assist with development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive clients to medical appointments and community activities.
• Ensure documentation and billable records are completed accurately.
• Build a support network by engaging with community members and families.
• Maintain clean and safe work locations and vehicles.
• Cooperate with licensee and department staff during inspections.
