Job summary

Total Care Services, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Trained Medication Employee (TME) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across residential and day services in Maryland.

You will follow individual support plans, assist with daily living activities, and ensure health and safety at all times. Administer medications under RN supervision, participate in required trainings, and document incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Trained Medication Employee Certification (TME) required for DSP/TME pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide care based on ISP and plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, meals, laundry).
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of individuals.
• Administer medications under RN direction and complete mandatory trainings.
• Attend religious, social and recreational activities with individuals.
• Maintain records and complete incident reports promptly.
• Comply with Total Care Services, Inc. policies and regulations.
