Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. This role is based in Pikesville, MD, with shifts on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from 8am to 8pm.

You’ll receive paid training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for growth while helping clients engage with their communities and daily activities. A comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in disability services helpful but not required—we provide training.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
