Job summary

00 RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time role. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with services, promoting wellness, fostering independence, and supporting community engagements. You will document care and maintain confidentiality while following state regulations.

Schedule: 4p–midnight, 32 hours with potential to reach 40. Full-time staff receive a $1000 bonus paid in 3 increments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 months of experience in a related field OR 12 college credits in human services.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating requests for services and support.
• Promote wellness through education and strategies to prevent illness and accidents.
• Encourage self-advocacy and personal decision-making aligned with goals.
• Accompany individuals to community activities (work, events, shopping) to support social engagement.
• Teach and support development of independent living skills and daily self-sufficiency.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Document services provided to ensure accurate records and team communication.
