New Vista in Lexington, KY seeks a Direct Support Professional for the SUD program on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri). You will assist clients with daily routines, promote safety, and support engagement in recreational and educational activities.

The role requires a high school degree or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Preference given to experience in residential behavioral health; excellent benefits are offered.

Formación

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Experience in residential behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily routines and ensure client safety.
• Provide opportunities for recreation and education.
• Complete daily documentation, shift reports, and logs.
• Assume medication duty in absence of nurse and ensure self‑administration records.
• Monitor presence, safety, and withdrawal checks as directed by the team.
• Maintain unit inventory, intake/discharge packets, and orientation folders.
• Supervise visitations and client phone privileges; enforce safety procedures.
• Lead activities calendar and group sessions; assist with therapy homework.
• Participate in client staffing and communicate referral needs when appropriate.
• Provide transportation and help clients connect with community groups.
