Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is seeking a Direct Support Person to assist individuals with self-care, hygiene, meals, housekeeping, socialization, and recreation.

The position involves collecting and filing required data, plus participation in community integration and transportation when needed. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check, CPR/First Aid basics, TABE, and be 18+ with availability for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work all shifts, including overnights and weekends.

• Participate in the development of individual Service Plan via the daily log, programming suggestions, and staffings.
• Assist with transportation to individuals served as part of community integration.
• Maintain regular and consistent work attendance.
• Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and treat clients with dignity and respect.

LSSI is hiring a full-time Direct Support Person. Responsible for providing assistance to individuals in areas of self-care, hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, socialization and recreations. Also responsible for collecting, recording, and filing data as required.

Schedule

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30pm to 8:30am

Essential Functions

Position Qualifications
