Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia, PA. The role involves supporting individuals in diverse settings, following Individual Support Plans, and helping with daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has a valid driver’s license, and is passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential, with opportunities to mentor and coach individuals toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care to enhance independence.
• Teach daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow the Individual Support Plan to support consumers in various settings.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
