Job summary

Sevita in Irving, TX is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs in-home and in the community. The role operates Fri-Sun from 6am to 10pm with pay at $9.00 per hour and eligible overtime opportunities.

A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history is required. As a Sevita caregiver, you’ll build meaningful relationships, assist with personal care, and help participants achieve personal goals, while benefiting from a full benefits package and career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with 1 year of unrestricted driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participants to be part of the community and enjoy their activities.

Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour with opportunities for Approved overtime

Requirement: Current driver's license with 1 year driving history without restrictions
