Easter Seals VT, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Associate to assist individuals in engaging activities that promote independence. The role includes providing varying levels of assistance to adults in community settings such as work, cooking classes, and yoga. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and a passion for empowering individuals with diverse needs.
We are looking for a Direct Support Associate to join our team! As a direct support associate in our program, you will participate alongside individuals as they partake in enriching, integrative activities throughout their communities. Gain hands-on experience working with adults who represent a diverse range of abilities and needs, supporting them as they achieve greater independence. Your flexible role will adjust from supervision to hand-over-hand assistance as you support each individual during work, cooking classes, yoga, or other vocational activities in their communities.
Qualifications: You must be 18 years of age or older to fill this position. You must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.
Compensation: $19 Hourly
Hours: Full-Time, 30 hours.
