Job summary

Wildwood Programs is a proud provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to build long-term relationships with the individuals we support and to interact with them in a positive, encouraging way.

Per diem roles require a NYS driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work M–F; two shifts per month minimum.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Flexibility & commitment, and solid communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in residential settings.
• Interact with individuals in a positive, encouraging manner.
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and empathy while fostering autonomy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and community integration as needed.
