Job summary

Woods Supermarket in Sedalia, MO is hiring a Direct Store Delivery Teammate to receive, count, verify counts and cost of merchandise, and keep a clean back room. DSD teammates may fill in as grocery teammates as needed.

You will greet guests, unload trucks, stock shelves, safely operate equipment, and assist with ensuring accurate pricing and display of products. The role requires strong attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical ability and ability to count.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• A stable work and educational history.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate equipment such as baler, case cutter, pallet jack and forklift (must be 18+).

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and respond to questions politely.
• Prepare back room for receipt of merchandise and unload trucks.
• Sort cases for stocking and display.
• Stock shelves and face front displays while maintaining safety rules.
• Count and record inventory items and assist with cleanliness and safety.
