Job summary

MIKID is seeking Direct Care Providers to support families in community and center-based programs, focusing on emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 months of relevant experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, provide support, guidance, and direction to members attending community or center-based programs. Direct Care Providers offer MIKID licensable services to primary caregivers while supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of members and their families. Services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility, or in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years old in accordance with medical licensing regulations.
• 6 months of experience in behavioral health or childcare.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience in the behavioral health field and those who demonstrate bilingualism.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Valid Arizona driver0s license, business-use vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration.
• Completion of all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior to providing services.
