Direct Hire Tool and Die Maker

Minneapolis

1st Shift up to $41.40

2nd Shift up to $42.40

Must join union at 60 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds or repairs intricate and complicated tools, dies, gauges and fixtures to extremely close tolerances.
• Performs difficult development work and builds tools where no designs are available. Proficient with multi-station progressive dies and intricate compound dies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficient with all tool room machine operation including CAD/KEY designs, CNC lathe and mill tool path creation, WEDM programming and operation.
• Requires high degree of experience and trade skill and thorough knowledge of all toolroom practices and technologies.
• Effective English skills, both written and spoken or signed (ASL)
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, use math and use handheld measuring tools – manual caliper & micrometer (YouTube how to use)
• Ability to follow documented processes and standards
• Demonstrated orientation to quality and attention to detail
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
