Job summary

Godshall Recruiting seeks a Quality Technician for a manufacturing client in Greenville, SC. You will verify product quality at multiple stages, inspect machined components with precision tools, and ensure compliance with drawings and customer specifications.

You will maintain inspection records in ERP and quality systems, support calibration programs, and collaborate with production to prevent nonconformances and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• ASQ CQT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify product quality throughout various stages of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect machined components using precision measurement and testing equipment.
• Evaluate parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Identify quality concerns and document discrepancies for corrective action.
• Maintain accurate inspection records within ERP and quality management systems.
• Support gauge and measurement tool calibration programs and associated documentation.
• Partner with production personnel to address quality-related issues and improve processes.
