Staffmark Group in Valdosta, GA is hiring a Pack Operator to inspect, package, and prepare finished products for shipment on 12-hour rotating shifts (7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM) with a 2-3-2 rotation, including weekend work.

Qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of manufacturing/packaging experience preferred, plus attention to detail, safety focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/packaging experience preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
• Basic computer skills for production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for defects.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment.
• Set up machines for product changeovers.
• Package and palletize finished products.
• Load packaging materials (bags, straps, stretch wrap).
• Perform rework, re-bagging, and scrap removal.
• Assist with machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and cleaning.
• Complete production documentation and report concerns.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
