Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring a Machine Operator in McDonald, PA. This DIRECT HIRE role offers 40 hours per week with pay ranging from $21.00 to $30.00 USD hourly, based on experience.

Immediate opportunity with full-time benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Responsibilities include operating programmed machines to cut metal pieces, setting up machinery, changing parts, reading shop tickets, measuring parts, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating machines, CNC, and manual machining preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery is in good working order before set up.
• Set up machinery to successfully conduct jobs as specified.
• Change parts when needed.
• Read and follow shop tickets for each part.
• Measure parts and ensure they are the correct sizes.
• Document sizing of parts.
• Perform all necessary machine maintenance.
• Follow safety standards at all times.
• Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and organized.
