Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Follow ISP with personalized goals.
• Support community outings and activities.
• Observe and report changes in behavior or condition.
• Chart behavior or condition observations on the computer.
• Drive or assist the driver in transporting individuals safely.
• Ensure safety and dignity in every interaction.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

Your Role: Direct Care Worker (DCW)/Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a DCW, you’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities in the office, homes and community settings. You’ll encourage independence, promote engagement, and help clients achieve their personal goals with compassion and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities (perineal care, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, etc.)
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs) with personalized goals
• Support community outings and activities
• Observe and report changes in behavior or condition
• Chart behavior or condition observations on the computer
• Drive or assist the driver in safely transporting individuals with disabilities, ensuring comfort and support during transit
• Ensure safety and dignity in every interaction
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Article 9 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
