Job summary

MedStaffers is hiring Direct Care Workers to support clients in their homes in the Washington, PA area. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunity for both full-time and part-time hours as part of a supportive team.

Candidates should be caring, dependable, and compassionate, with the ability to perform personal care tasks, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation as needed. A background check and TB test may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of home care experience preferred (but we are happy to train the right person!)
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check
• Ability to complete (or provide) a two-step TB test

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Helping with mobility: ambulation, transfers, and guided exercises
• Providing light housekeeping: vacuuming, dishes, laundry, dusting
• Running errands: grocery shopping or transportation to appointments
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks
• Medication reminders
• Providing companionship and emotional support
