Job summary

Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, IA is hiring a compassionate Direct Care Worker (DCW) to support residents with intellectual disabilities in a structured, team-focused environment.

You will provide hands-on daily living assistance, help with developmental activities, monitor health and safety, build respectful relationships with residents, and support nursing staff while maintaining a clean, safe residence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Previous experience in a customer service or caregiving role preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
