Position: Direct Care Worker for Day/Evening Shift from 4 PM to 8 PM. Must be available to work Rotating Weekends.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Experience: Effective communication skills, compassion, attention to detail, flexibility, physical stamina, patience. Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Requirements: Active driver’s license with reliable transportation. Able to pass background checks. Covid-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption letter required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with ambulation/transfer.
• Help with dressing, bathing, and basic hygiene tasks.
• Prepare meals/snacks adhering to dietary considerations.
• Assist with light cleaning and housework.
• Support consumers in completing household tasks.
• Serve as a companion.
• Provide transportation.
• Assist with eating/feeding.
• Handle laundry, change bed linens, make beds.
