Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals navigating recovery? MHA’s GRIT program is looking for dedicated, compassionate Relief Staff to join our team on a per diem basis. GRIT is a Residential Rehabilitation Services program designed to support adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnoses as they work toward long-term recovery.
As a Relief Staff Member, You Will
Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a welcoming, recovery-focused environment.
Assist residents in achieving personal recovery goals through person-driven, structured programming.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of case managers, clinicians, prescribers, and recovery staff.
Help promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere within our GRIT residences.
Requirements
Must be available to pick up shifts as necessary, working a minimum of 2 required shifts per month.
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a safe, reliable vehicle to utilize during work hours
Must have auto insurance with your name listed on the policy as an insured driver
Must have an acceptable driving record (no more than 3 violations within the past 3 years)
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a background and CORI check
Must be able to pass and maintain certifications in medication administration (MAP), CPR, and First Aid.
Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with a team.
Must be comfortable with a person-centered approach, with adaptability to support participants' changing needs.
