All American Home Care in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced Direct Care Worker (DCW) for a part-time role in the West Mifflin area. You will provide in-home personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients in their own homes. The schedule includes Mon 9A-2P and Sat 9A-2P.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a valid ID, and a background check. A Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, or DCW certification is preferred as part of the

• HHA training, Adult Residential License, and DCW certification are preferred.
• Clear background check and valid ID/DL required.
• Social Security and TB/PPD or Chest X-ray may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in the consumer's home.
• Assists with activities of daily living and maintains a clean, safe home environment.

Position Overview

Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to: hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity.
• Respects the rights of all consumers including their right to confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safety including but not limited to: light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doing dishes, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of caregiving experience required
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred)
• Clear background check
• Valid ID/DL
• Social Security
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray
