Impactful Home Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers (DCWs) in Philadelphia! We are dedicated to providing exceptional in-home support, empowering seniors to live life on their terms with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
2. Offer support with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment.
3. Provide medication reminders and companionship, engaging in conversation and activities that bring joy and promote socialization.
4. Be a source of emotional support and promote a sense of well-being.
5. Observe and report any changes in the client's condition, behavior, or environment to the care team.
6. Uphold the highest standards of care by adhering to all company policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate with a compassionate heart!
3. CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist you in obtaining these if needed).
4. A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
6. A reliable vehicle may be required for some errands or appointments (depending on the position).
7. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Competitive wages ($12 - $15 per hour) with the opportunity for growth.
