Job summary

Stand Out Home Care is seeking Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide in-home support to individuals needing assistance due to aging, disability, illness, or other health-related conditions in Mesa, AZ.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, transport to appointments, and help maintain safety, dignity, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or eligible).
• Direct Care Worker competency test must be passed.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning clients.

• Assist with medication reminders and follow established care plans.
• Observe, document, and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Promote client safety while respecting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Collaborate with clients, families, healthcare providers, and agency staff to ensure quality care.
