Job summary

Stand Out Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide in-home support to clients aging or living with disabilities in Chandler, AZ. You will assist with daily activities, accompany clients to appointments, and promote independence while respecting dignity.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and a clean background. You must be reliable, communicate well, and follow care plans with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must possess a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or be eligible to obtain one).
• Must successfully pass the Direct Care Worker (DCW) competency test.
• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients when necessary.
• Basic understanding of medication safety and infection control practices.
• Strong observation skills to identify and report changes in client condition.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
