Job summary

JNH Homecare LLC is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team. You will work with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan and providing personalized, attentive care while building genuine relationships.

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, and prior Home Care or Home Health experience is a plus as you support patients with daily

Qualifications

• Clearances including PA Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting Clearance through the Office of Youth, Children, and Families, and PA Child Abuse Clearance are up to date.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Up to date physical and TWO (2) negative TB skin tests OR negative QuantiFERON blood test OR chest x-ray

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
