Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their mental well-being
• Administer medication and ensure clients adhere to their medical schedules when applicable
• Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Monitor client health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or management
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and needs
• Support clients in engaging in social activities and personal interests to enhance their quality of life
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in nursing or personal care preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families
• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and principles related to caregiving
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients as needed
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients
• Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
