Job summary

All American Home Care LLC is hiring a Direct Care Worker in Chippewa, PA for a part-time schedule. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in the client’s home, following the plan of care and safety guidelines.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of caregiving experience, Hoyer Lift and bedbound experience, and a clear background check. Driving is not mandatory; Social Security is required. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months up to 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Hoyer Lift and Bedbound experience required.
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care Worker certification preferred.
• Clear background check.
• ID/DL driving is not mandatory.
• Social Security required.
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray required.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Takes care to treat each person with respect and dignity and maintain confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in a clean and safe state, including light housekeeping and laundry.

All American Home Care is actively seeking an experienced DCW to join our team in the Chippewa, PA area. Mon-Fri 8A-12P

Position Overview

Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to: hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity.
• Respects the rights of all consumers including their right to confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safety including but not limited to: light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doing dishes, etc).

Requirements

• 6 months up to 1 year of caregiving experience required
• Hoyer Lift and Bedbound experience (REQUIRED)
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred)
