Job summary

All American Home Care in the Carnegie area is seeking an experienced Direct Care Worker to join our team in the community. The role provides consumer care services at the client's home, including personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, meal preparation, and laundry, with duties aligned to the plan of care.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of caregiving experience, HHAs or related licenses are preferred, and a clear background check, valid ID/DL, and TB testing are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred)
• Clear background check
• Valid ID/DL
• Social Security
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X‑ray

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Treats each person with respect and dignity.
• Respects the rights of all consumers including confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in a clean and safe state through light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, beds, dishes, etc.)

Schedule

Time: 9A-5P M-F

Position Overview

Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments.

• Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safety including but not limited to: light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doing dishes, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of caregiving experience required
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred)
