The role pays $17.13 per hour and offers 16–32 hours per week, with every other weekend and potential to combine hours across programs up to 40 per week.

Responsibilities include compassionate support, daily living assistance, and help with medications. Training, holidays, and retirement benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Compassionate, dependable, and caring.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
• Availability to work rotating weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and HITECH requirements.

Position Details

• Position: Professional Care Technician (Direct Care Worker)


• Location: Cass County, Michigan


• Starting Pay: $17.13 per hour


• Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shifts


• Hours: 16–32 hours per week


• Schedule: Includes every other weekend

As a Professional Care Technician, you'll provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental and medical disabilities, helping them live as independently and safely as possible. You'll assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, passing medications, encourage personal growth, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact on the lives of the people you support.
