Job description

All American Home Care is actively seeking an experienced DCW to join our team in the West Mifflin area.

Schedule

Time: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview

Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping, or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation, laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs or assists the consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity.
• Respects the rights of all consumers, including their right to confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety, including light housekeeping such as vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, and doing dishes.

Requirements

• 1 year of caregiving experience required.
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, or Direct Care Worker certification (preferred).
• Clear background check.
• Valid ID and driver's license.
• Social Security number.
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray.
