Job summary

Pecan Valley Mh-mr Region is seeking caregivers to train and assist adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities in basic self-help skills and homemaking tasks. The role involves transporting clients to appointments, helping with household chores, and meal preparation in a supportive setting.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED (or pass a competency exam if not). A Texas driver’s license, a clean driving record for 3 years, and valid auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid auto insurance card.
• Ability to perform job-related physical tasks including lifting.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in basic self-help skills and homemaking services to adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.
• Transport clients to scheduled appointments.
• Assist with house cleaning and meal preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
