Job summary

Lifesteps Inc in Homer City, PA, is seeking a Direct Care Supervisor for a full-time daylight shift (7am–3pm). You will supervise and support individuals in their home and community, ensuring dignity and independence while guiding the day-to-day operations of the Community Home.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in human services, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 200 lbs with assistance, and clearance checks; preferred degrees and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 3 years of human service experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must obtain FBI, child abuse and PA criminal clearances.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: supervisory experience and related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in home and community settings.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Community Home and supervise house staff.
• Act as Residential Companion within the direct care team.
• Work daylight shifts, 7am to 3pm, as part of a full-time schedule.
