Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Care DSP in Fergus Falls, MN to support individuals with developmental disabilities. The schedule includes 8a-4p on some days and 3p-10p on others, with every other weekend coverage.

You’ll assist with personal care, transportation, and community activities, while building meaningful relationships. Requirements include a valid driver's license and a willingness to work with participants who may have behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services or direct care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Reliable, patient and compassionate in care.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• You’ll assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• You’ll support participants toward goals in budgeting, activity, nutrition.
• Maintain safety and respectful interactions in all activities.

DSP Fergus Falls Hillcrest (36) Tuesday, 8a-4p, Wednesday and Thursday, 3p-10p, Friday 7a-3p, Every other Saturday and Sunday 3p - 10p

Must have valid Driver's License for at least 1 year post permit and a clean Motor Vehicle Record that meet's Sevita insurability policy
