Job summary

We Care Sitting Services LLC in the Shreveport area is seeking a capable Direct Service Worker (DSW) to help clients live independently while remaining engaged in their communities. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care, assist with daily activities, monitor health, and document tasks and changes.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, and organized, with a valid driver’s license. Required: high school diploma or GED, CPR and first aid, and willingness to undergo background checks and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Completion of provided training.
• Completion of a criminal background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care as needed.
• Following the client’s plan of care and recording task progress.
• Ensuring home safety and light housekeeping as needed.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement.
• Providing mobility assistance and transportation to appointments.
• Monitoring changes in health and reporting them.
