Overview:

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse!

Location: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center - Woodbridge, VA

Position: Direct Care Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Shift: Part Time & Night Shift, 7:00pm-7:00am, 24 hours/week

Incentives: Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates!

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) performs nursing care based on the nursing process, demonstrating clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards specific to clinical areas. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, along with adherence to professional performance standards such as ethics, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications:

  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire; Emergency Care - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year; Oncology Care - ONS/ONCC or Sentara approved Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months; Women's Care - Perinatal departments NRP within 6 months; PALS within 6 months; BLS within 90 days

Education:

  • RN-Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degree

Licensure & Certification:

  • RN License - Compact/Multi-State or Virginia Single State
  • BLS Certification - American Heart Association

Experience:

  • 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
