Hours/Shift:

Full-time, night shift 7p - 7a

Department/Position Overview:

The 3 East - Intermediate Care Unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital enjoys a supportive team environment with a favorable nurse-to-patient ratio, including a unit-based nurse educator, team coordinator, and manager. The unit is actively involved with the hospital's Magnet redesignation journey and has an active Partnership Council. All new graduate RNs receive a 10 to 12-week clinical preceptorship and enrollment in the Transition to Practice Program. If you are seeking a fast-paced, team-based care environment, 3 East is the place for you! The patient population on this unit may include: sepsis, hemorrhage, stroke, cardiac issues, trauma, post-op recovery, substance withdrawal, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
