Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Direct Care Providers/Behavioral Health Technicians for our Community Living and Inpatient divisions. You will screen, assess, plan treatment, teach life skills, and document care for SMI members in residential or inpatient settings.

The position is full-time with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts depending on site, including some weekends. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: 21 years old
• High School Diploma or GED and six months of full-time Behavioral Health experience
• OR related Associate’s degree with six weeks of full-time Behavioral Health experience
• OR non-related Associate’s degree with one year of behavioral health experience
• OR related bachelor’s degree or non-related bachelor’s with six months of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and treatment planning for SMI in residential or inpatient settings
• Deliver life skills training and pre-vocational training
• Prepare related documentation and support case management

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services are seeking Direct Care Providers/Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Community Living and Inpatient division! As a Direct Care Provider, you will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, life skills, pre-vocational training, related documentation, case management, crisis intervention, individual and/or group counseling services to SMI members in a residential or inpatient setting.

Pay range: $16 to $18 per hour based on experience and education with benefits.

Schedule: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available depending on the site. 12-hour shift is offered at an inpatient site. Days, evenings and nights available and may need to work a weekend day.

Location: We have sites available in Phoenix and Mesa

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement consists of a 21-year age
• A High School Diploma/GED and six months of full-time Behavioral Health experience/integrated health experience; OR
• A related Associate’s degree and six weeks of full-time Behavioral Health/integrated health experience; OR
• A non-related Associate's degree and one year of full-time behavioral health/integrated health experience; OR
• A related bachelor’s degree; OR
• A non-related bachelor's degree plus six months of relevant experience in behavioral health.
• MVR clearance required.
• Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive upon hire (as required per program requirements).
