Job description

Job Description: Searching for a Community Living Service provider in the downtown Rockford area to assist an independent female with living independently. She is looking for help with daily living tasks such as meal prep, emotional regulation, scheduling, community access and socialization, medication management, and laundry.

Compensation:
$17.50-$19 depending on experience and skills

Hours:
Monday – Friday, 1st shift

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist individual with daily living activities such as meal planning and meal prep
  2. Provide emotional support and companionship
  3. Organize and participate in social activities in the home and in the community
  4. Communicate effectively with the individual, her family, and medical professionals
  5. Keep accurate records of daily activities and progress notes
  6. Must enjoy games and be a positive person

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
  • First Aid certification (will be provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
  • Reliable transportation (must have personal vehicle to transport individual to activities)
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
