Job summary

Smart Staffing Group in Beacon, New York is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents in daily living activities.

You will assist with toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, and may handle medications and records; accompany residents to clinic appointments and community activities.

You will help maintain cleanliness and safety of the residence by performing housekeeping tasks such as washing floors, laundry, dusting, making beds, and organizing cabinets.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living including toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, meal programs, and specialized medical needs as required
• Administer medications and records
• Shall accompany residents to clinic appointments, outside programming, recreation programs, etc. as required
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the residence and individual possessions by performing general housekeeping tasks (washing floor and surfaces, laundering individuals’ clothes, dusting, making beds cleaning cabinets, drawers, refrigerator, stove, etc)
