Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is hiring a Direct Care Worker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley. The role involves compassionate personal care, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation support to help seniors and participants with disabilities live safely at home.

The successful candidate will provide dignity, patience, and respect, with duties including meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. We offer medical benefits, competitive pay, and ongoing education in a supportive home care

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time

Responsibilities

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist/reminders with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food, and provide personal assistance with general living needs.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual.
