Job summary

VOICE is seeking Direct Care Workers to support individuals with developmental disabilities and/or medical needs. You will provide compassionate, person-centered care at home and in community settings, helping clients achieve greater independence and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication management, mobility, meal prep, documentation, and collaborating with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medication administration and standard home care protocols.
• Experience in memory care, dementia care, or senior care preferred.
• Ability to assist with ADLs while promoting client independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness per person-centered care plans.
• Assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication management.
• Promote independence and client choice in home and community settings.
• Accompany clients to appointments, activities, and errands.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and well-being; document and report to care teams.
